Accused stabber expresses love for al-Qaeda
December 10 , 2013
One of the two men accused of killing British soldier Lee Rigby in broad daylight said he supports al-Qaeda and called the other members of the militant group his brothers, despite having never met him.
Michael Adebolajo said he's a soldier at war and both Adebalajo and Adebowale denied they committed murder.
He also said he was born and raised a Christian among British whites and attended church each week on Sunday. Adebolajo turned Muslim during his first year at Greenwich University.
"When I came to Islam I realized that ... real success is not just what you can acquire, but really is if you make it to paradise, because then you can relax."
