Due to Australia's bushfire crisis, a state of emergency has been declared in New South Wales. On Tuesday, i.e. December 11, the country has undergone the "hottest-ever day", however even that record was shattered violently on Wednesday with 41.9°C (107.42°F). Authorities have confirmed that New South Wales (NSW) are at present fighting about 100 fires for months. The current Premier of New South Wales, Gladys Berejiklian declared a state of emergency for seven days.
