4 Nato troops, 12 others killed in suicide bombing in Afghanistan

  • A suicide bomber targeted an area near the Bagram air base in Afghanistan’s north-east, killing 16 people, including four Nato soldiers, reports said.

    Two police officers and 10 civilians were among those killed in the militant attack.

    The attack on a clinic, which was close to the biggest American base in Afghanistan, comes amid political tension in the country surrounding the election results to the office of the president.
