27 killed in Baghdad bombings

Multiple bombings have killed at least 27 people in Baghdad. In the bloodiest attack, nine people were killed and 19 injured when a suicide bomber rammed a car filled with explosives into a police checkpoint in Abu Dashir, a Shia area. The dead included four policemen.
Later, three car bombs in Bayaa, Jihad and Khazimiya killed at least 15 people and injured 42, the police said. Another car bomb killed three people beside a bus stop in Khazimiya.
