YouTube starts music subscription service

  • YouTube has unveiled a paid service through which users can stream music videos without ads and use them offline after downloading them, media reports say.

The service, Music Key, comes for a monthly fee of £9.99; and comes with a Google Play All Access membership.

YouTube is a part of Google.

The new service will challenge other players in the ‘unlimited’ music space. After a dispute with indies, Google says it has signed agreements with independent labels across the world.
