Yahoo to change its logo
August 8 , 2013
Yahoo has decided to change its logo after nearly two decades. The company is showcasing different variations of the logo for 30 days on its homepage and well across its U.S. network.
The official logo is supposed to be unveiled on September 5. The new logo will still have the exclamation point and the color purple but is expected to be bold.
The company's chief marketing officer, Kathy Savitt said they have been talking about the logo change for a while. "The timing is right. It will reflect our brand, which is entertaining, fun, engaging, delightful, playful."
