Yahoo Japan targeted by hackers
May 21 , 2013
Hackers may have stolen the login names of up to 22 million Yahoo Japan customers, it was revealed on Monday.
The attack was spotted late last week after a file of ID details was stolen, according to Yahoo Japan.
However, the file did not include passwords or other information required to re-set a password or confirm an identity.
Yahoo Japan, jointly owned by mobile firm Softbank and Yahoo, has still urged customers to change their passwords.
