Vulnerabilities in Lenovo software are a 'massive' security risk: report

  • Researchers have found major flaws in Chinese firm Lenovo’s software that constitute a “massive” security risk. According to reports, three such flaws could be exploited to give hackers more control over user systems or install malware on them.

The PC manufacturer has acknowledged the findings and asked users to download a patch to solve the problem. Researchers at IOActive, a security firm, alerted Lenovo after discovering the vulnerabilities in February.
