Users of "Silk Road" drug site should be worried

  • There have been more arrests related to the seized Silk Road website. After arresting mastermind Ross Ulbricht, the authorities have now arrested eight more alleged users of the site, including two in Washington, two in Sweden and four in England.

Details regarding the investigation aren't clear yet but Adam Clarke Estes at Gizmoda said, "On Reddit, there are now numerous different threads going in which clearly rattled former Silk Road users are wondering if the Feds are coming for them next and if they should talk to a lawyer."

It seems like the users got a false sense of security considering the encrypted transactions; John Herman of Buzzfeed mentioned that "buying and selling illegal substances through a service run by the government, it turns out, is more than enough to get you caught."
