Software reseller MicroTech sues HP over disputed Autonomy deal
May 20 , 2015
MicroTech, a small US-based software reseller specializing in government computing, is suing tech giant Hewlett-Packard, saying HP owes it $16.5 million for autonomy software.
Previously, HP had named MicroTech in a $5-billion fraud claim against the founders of Autonomy, a British software group.
MicroTech’s suit has added another twist to the tussle between HP and the founders of Autonomy. HP had acquired Autonomy for $11 billion in 2011, but later wrote down its value.
