Snapchat apologizes for scam once again
January 14 , 2014
Snapchat has acknowledged their fault in regards to the data breach once again.
The successful startup company apologized for "any unwanted Snaps" and let the users know that the team is "working on resolving the issue."
The service, which allows people to send photos and videos to their friends, experienced a vulnerability that let hackers get a hold of data concerning 4.6M users.
It was a known fact that hackers found a loop hole in Snapchat's Find Friends feature but the company mentioned that the data exposure doesn't seem to be the reason of the scam.
