Officials use anti-spy tents overseas
November 13 , 2013
Reports suggest that President Obama as well as other officials travel oversees with security tents. These things can be used inside hotel suites and are specifically designed in order to defeat bugs.
Top officials are required to go into these tents while reading classified information and confidential conversations.
"No matter where you are, you are a target these days," a former CIA chief said. "No matter where we go, countries like China, Russia, and music of the arab world have assets and are trying to spy on us so you have to think about that and take as many precautions as possible."
These tents are not the only measures of precaution. There are many more ways in which officials protect themselves from being spied on. They are always expected to assume they're under surveillance.
