Netflix has signed a contract with Verizon in order to improve its quality of speed of spurting content to its subscribers. This is the second deal that the network has made with an ISP in order to assure that its content flows more efficiently.
"We have reached an interconnect arrangement with Verizon that we hope will improve performance for our joint customers over the coming months," a company spokesman said.
Similar to its deal with Comcast, this one will give the streaming provider a direct link between Verizon's network and its servers for a better delivery of content.
