Microsoft will release 'familiar yet better' Windows 10 in July

  • Microsoft's Windows 10 will be released in July, the technology giant has confirmed. Windows 10 is Microsoft’s next generation operating system.

    The firm said tablets and PCs running the OS would be on sale from July 29, and the software would be offered to existing users as a free download from the same time.

    Terry Myerson, vice-president, operating systems, Microsoft, wrote on a blog post that Windows 10 was designed to be "familiar, yet better than ever”.
