Google plans to shut Picasa

After launching Google photos less than a year ago, Google now wants to shut Picasa to pay unilateral attention to the former. According to the Google authorities Google Photos had been created to provide the users with an extensive as well as comprehensive viewing/ editing photos etc. The new photo service already has more than 100 million monthly users. Picasa was acquired by Google in 2004 and ran for a almost more than a decade. The new Google Photos gives the user an option of having a backup of photos and videos to the cloud for free along with a search function.
