Google Glass to reach airline industry
February 13 , 2014
Wearable computer Google Glass has made its way to the airline industry and the crew of Virgin Atlantic are soon to wear the technology in order to check in passengers.
Reports suggest that the staff will be able to provide information about the flight and weather conditions. In fact, the device would even tell the airline staff about their passengers' drink and food preferences.
"We continue to look ahead and research innovations that customers might only dream of today," the director of information technology said. "The whole industry needs to listen to what these passengers are calling for, and keep innovating to bring a return to the golden age of air travel. Flying should be a pleasure, not a chore."
