Firm to track jets for free

A British satellite firm promises that no other plane will go missing like the Malaysia Airlines Plane 370 did. The airline industry never used satellite tracking considering its costs, but Inmarsat said it will provide the service to airlines in order to determine any plane's location after every 15 minutes.
"Our equipment is on 90% of the world's wide-body jets already. This is an immediate fix for the industry at no cost to the industry," an exec told the BBC, adding that the company would recover the cost by selling its services to airlines.
Meanwhile, authorities said the search for Plane 370 can take a year.
