The chief executives of Apple and Samsung are set to appear for a court-supervised mediation in San Francisco over a bitter patent dispute.
Apple’s Tim Cook and Samsung’s Choi Gee-sung were instructed to do so in a joint court filing issued by a federal judge in April.
Apple has accused Samsung of copying the iPhone and iPad through products that run on Google's Android operating system. Samsung has countersued on claims that Apple infringed its patents.
