300K porn site visits made from inside the UK Parliament

  • People working in the UK Parliament have reportedly attempted to access porn sites about 300,000 times in the past one year. It has not been clear as to which of the 5,000 officials working in the House of Commons and House of Lords have tried to access the websites.

It is also being suspected that the high number could be a result of page reloads as well as pop ups. It doesn't prove that those involved in the incident even intended to access those sites in any way.

The attempts made this year in February were just 13 which are way less as opposed to those made in November - 114,844 last year.

A similar FOI (Freedom of Information) request had also been used earlier this year to discover that devices inside the Parliament had accessed "Out of Town Affairs", which is a matchmaking website used to commit adultery. It had been accessed 52,375 times in a span of seven months.
