Wenger sound optimistic of Arsenal's comeback

  • According to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger, the Premier League title may go beyond a two-horse race between Jose Mourinho's side and reigning champions Manchester City.

He believes that the next three or four games are crucial. He sounded realistic when he said that teams like Arsenal need to be consistent to grab their chance of coming back. Arsenal had topped the chart on 1 January 2014 but it could finish the season fourth, seven points below Man City.

Wenger acknowledged the depletion in their squad since the start of the season coupled with lack of stability. He has suggested the English national team should have a break in January as the German national team who has the longest winter break in Europe, has always done well in the big tournaments.
