Tour de France: Lance Armstrong to ride hilly parts of route
June 27 , 2015
The disgraced American cyclist Lance Armstrong has decided to go ahead with his plan to ride parts of the Tour de France.
Armstrong, who was stripped off his seven Tour de France titles by the US Anti-Doping Agency for taking performance-enhancing drugs, is participating this year for a cancer charity.
He will join Geoff Thomas, the former England footballer and a cancer survivor, on July 16 and 17 for the hilly leg of the route.
