Tony Stewart flips five times in car race

  • Tony Stewart was uninjured after his car flipped five times at a dirt race in Canada. He had been racing for the lead with Shane Stewart for fun Monday night at a dirt track in Ontario and his car ended up tumbling after he ran up on the cushion and got sideways.

Spokesman Mike Arning said the three-time NASCAR Cup champion walked away from the accident unhurt and was ready to race in the World of Outlaws STP Sprint Car Series feature event at Ohsweken Speedway in Ontario.

Stewart said this has been a busy week for him and called racing at the dirt track a "night of rest".

He said he can't think of a better week to celebrate.
