Super Bowl faces a fake security scare

  • Authorities in New Jersey are trying to get to the bottom of a fake scare regarding the security at Super Bowl.

Envelopes filled with white powder were sent to hotels near the stadium and several other sites. However, a law-enforcement official mentioned that one of the envelopes contained baking soda and others were filled with cornstarch.

The message inside all envelopes was the same but is not disclosed as of yet. No injuries have been reported and investigations are ongoing.
