As per media reports, Sri Lanka, which won the toss and elected to bat, were all out for 133 with nearly 13 overs remaining. Off-spinner JP Duminy’s hat-trick and leg-spinner Imran Tahir (4 for 26) prevented the Lankans from making a huge score. The Proteas easily accomplished the target in 18 overs at a loss of just one wicket. Quinton de Kock led the way with an unbeaten 78.
