Ski jumping world record broken twice in two days
February 16 , 2015
The ski jumping world record was broken twice in just two days after Anders Fannemel from Norway jumped 251.5m at the World Cup in Vikersund on Sunday.
A day earlier, Peter Prevc from Slovenia had broken the record at the same venue in Norway with a 250m leap.
Though 23-year-old Fannemel jumped further than Prevc in his first attempt, Severin Freund won the event on Sunday, with the Norwegian coming second.
Fannemel described the record-breaking effort as the “best jump of my life”.
