Robin Soderling retires from tennis

  • Thirty-one-year old Robin Soderling, former world number four, has retired from tennis. According to media reports, Soderling was suffering from glandular fever since 2011. The Swede, who has not recovered from the fever and will not be able to return to tennis, became the first man to win against Rafael Nadal at the French Open held in 2009.
