Real Madrid legend Alfredo Di Stefano dies

  • Football legend Alfredo Di Stefano has died after suffering a heart attack. He was 88.

    The former Real Madrid striker was in an induced coma in a Madrid hospital.

    Considered to be the greatest player to have played for the Spanish club, he won five consecutive European Cups from 1956 to 1960, scoring in every final.

    He was twice declared European player of the year during his 11 years at Real Madrid.
