Oosthuizen withdraws from U.S. Open

  • The former British Open champion, Louis Oosthuizen withdrew from the US Open this Friday. He pulled out of the championship preceding the start of his second round with an injury which is unspecified.

    Oosthuizen began the championship with a 5 over 75 score on the East Course of the Merion Golf Club. He was at his 4th US Open Championship. He missed the cut in the year 2010 and 2012, while giving his best finish in 2011 at the Congressional.
