Milwaukee Bucks' Larry Sanders to repair right thumb

  • Milwaukee Bucks center Larry Sanders tore ligament in his right thumb and is now out for about six weeks.

The injury happened during a fight at a night club on Nov. 3. Bucks coach Larry Drew said the injury was unfortunate but Sanders "has to learn from it."

It appears that Sanders would return around Christmas time, which means he'll miss a total of 24 games.
