Milwaukee Bucks fire head coach

  • The Milwaukee Bucks fired head coach Jim Boylan on Wednesday.

In January, Boylan was promoted to interim head coach after Scott Skiles and the Bucks mutually parted ways.

The Bucks posted a 22-28 record under Boylan and reached the playoffs as the eighth seed in the Eastern Conference.

Boylan had been the lead assistant coach for the past four seasons, joining the Bucks after finishing the final 56 games of the 2007-08 season as the interim head coach of the Chicago Bulls.

His replacement has not yet been named.
