Kingman's racing career comes to an end

  • Trained by John Gosden and owned by Khalid Abdullah, the three year old horse’s retirement was confirmed on Monday, September 22, reports say. He has been suffering from a throat infection and hence, not deemed fit to perform at the Queen Elizabeth II Stakes next month, which was actually supposed to be his final outing.

    Kingman was the winner of the Group 1 Irish 2000 Gineas, Sussex Stakes, Jame’s Palace Stakes, and Prix Jacques le Marois.
