Jason Collins to become NBA's first openly gay player

Jason Collins has signed a contract with the Brooklyn Nets and is soon to become NBA's first active openly gay player.
Collins is expected to play against the Lakers in Los Angeles tonight and the general manager of Nets mentioned that the "decision to sign Jason was a basketball decision."
The 35-year-old has played 12 NBA seasons, out of which seven have been with the Nets.
