Jamaican athletes face discipline for doping
October 3 , 2012
Two Jamaican athletes, including 4x400 meters relay pool member Dominique Blake, are to face disciplinary action after testing positive for doping.
A preliminary hearing began in Kingston, Jamaica on Tuesday for Blake and national 800-meter champion Ricardo Cunningham over doping violations.
Cunningham appeared at the hearing in person while Blake, who has previously served a nine-month ban, sent a representative.
Last November, former Jamaican relay world champion Steve Mullings was banned for life after a second doping offense.
