Internet reacts over pregnant weight lifter

Lea-Ann Ellison, an expectant mom as well as a CrossFit follower, is receiving Internet criticism over the photos that show her lifting heavy weights two weeks before her due date. Ellison posted the photos on Facebook and said, "8 months pregnant with baby number 3 and CrossFit has been my sanity." She mentioned that it has been two-and-a-half years since she began CrossFitting.
Some people praised the soon-to-be mother, while the rest criticized her choice, saying that it could hurt her baby.
However, Ellison has claimed that weight-lifting has in fact, improved her pregnancy and hasn't let her experience any aches or cravings.
A maternal fetal medicine specialist, who spoke to the Times said it is not advisable for a normal person to be weight lifting during pregnancy but considering Ellison's experience, she probably knows how to put more pressure on her arms, instead of on her abdomen.
Ellison mentioned on Facebook that she doesn't believe that pregnancy is an illness, "but a time to relish in your body's capabilities."
