Green Bay Packers' Jordy Nelson to miss Detroit Lions game

  • Green Bay Packers wide receiver Jordy Nelson has been ruled out for Sunday's game against the Detroit Lions due to a hamstring injury.

Nelson, who missed an earlier win over Jacksonville with a similar injury, aggravated his hamstring in the first quarter of Green Bay's 23-14 victory over Minnesota last Sunday.

Nelson has hauled in 46 passes for 658 yards and six touchdowns in 11 games this season.

Linebacker Clay Matthews, defensive back Charles Woodson and defensive end C.J. Wilson are also expected to remain out for the Packers.
