French Open: Murray beats Kyrgios 6-4 6-2 6-3, advances to fourth round

  • Britain’s Andy Murray defeated Nick Kyrgios 6-4 6-2 6-3 to reach the fourth round of the French Open.

    Murray, 28, took nearly two hours to prevail over the 20-year-old Australian, who wowed the crowd at Roland Garros with some superb shots.

    In the last 16, the third-seeded Scot will face Frenchman Jeremy Chardy, who defeated David Goffin 6-3 6-4 6-2.

    Meanwhile, world number one Serena Williams came back from a set down to beat Victoria Azarenka 3-6 6-4 6-2 in a tense match, to reach round four.
