Female Russian runners kiss publicly

  • Two female Russian runners ended up smooching publicly at the World Athletics Championship. The runners had won gold in the relay so it appears as if the kiss was a protest but neither of them have commented on the incident yet.

Russian sports minister said the private lives of the athletes won't be subject to the law and that the freedom of the guests in Sochi would be protected.

He didn't, however show any signs of leniency with those who might want to make public statements like these. "We want to protect our children whose psyches have not formed from the propaganda of drug use, drunkenness and non traditional sexual relations."
