Federer beats Djokovic to reach Wimbledon final

  • Roger Federer has become the first man to reach eight Wimbledon singles finals, beating defending champion Novak Djokovic at Center Court.

The third seed progressed to his 24th Grand Slam final with a 6-3 3-6 6-4 6-3 win over Djokovic.

He will next play Andy Murray, who became the first Briton to reach the final in 74 years.

It will be Federer's first Grand Slam final since last year's French Open and his first at Wimbledon since he won his sixth title in 2009.
