Europe wins Ryder Cup
October 1 , 2012
Europe retained the Ryder Cup after producing a comprehensive comeback on the final day at Medinah Country Club on Sunday.
With the United States needing just four points from the 12 on offer, Europe secured eight and a half to claim a historic 14-13 victory.
As holders, Europe, who started the day trailing 10-6, were only required to tie the match in order to retain the Cup they won in Wales two years ago.
