End of the road for injured Michael Clarke?

  • Australia’s captain Michael Clarke has admitted that his career may be over after suffering another hamstring injury in the first Test against India that Australia won by 48 runs.

Clarke, 33, who left the field on the last day, underwent scans in the hospital. He was also treated for a recurrent back problem earlier after he retired hurt during batting.

He told the media that there were chances that he would never play again, adding that he hoped that would not happen “but you have to be realistic”.
