Diego Tardelli scores twice as Brazil beat Argentina 2-0

  • Brazil won the Superclasico de las Americas by beating Argentina 2-0 in Beijing, with Diego Tardelli scoring both goals.

    The first goal came in the 28th minute. Argentina’s captain and star player Lionel Messi for once missed out on a penalty. Tardelli’s second-half header in the 64th minute put the game beyond Argentina. 

    Brazil, who also had Neymar in their side, registered their third successive victory after their 7-1 humiliating loss to Germany in the World Cup.
