  • New Zealand crushed England by eight wickets after bundling them out for 123 and then chasing the target in 12.2 overs in a Pool A World Cup encounter on Friday. Tim Southee took seven wickets as England’s last seven wickets fell for 19 runs.

    To add to England’s misery, Brendon McCullum made World Cup history by smashing a half-century in 18 balls as New Zealand raced to victory. New Zealand has won all its three matches so far while England suffered their second consecutive massive defeat.
