Corruption probe: Bolivia's football chief Carlos Chavez arrested

Carlos Chavez, the president of the Bolivian Football Federation, has been arrested as part of a corruption inquiry, reports say.
He is also the South American Football Confederation’s treasurer.
Bolivia started probing its football federation following the corruption scandal involving Fifa, the world governing body of football.
Chavez is being investigated for alleged corruption in the “management of resources”, according to the country’s public prosecutor.
Alberto Lozada, the secretary general of Bolivia’s federation, has also been detained on charges of fixing matches.
