Bears' Henry Milton charged with public intoxication and assault
December 23 , 2013
Chicago Bears defensive tackle Henry Melton was arrested after he punched the manager and refused to leave Chill Sports Bar in a Dallas suburb.
Reports suggest that the manager, who Melton also bit on the arm, wasn't seriously injured and four staff members at the bar restrained the 300-pound Melton until police arrived.
Melton was charged with assault and public intoxication. He declined treatment for a cut nose and was freed on a $1,210 bond.
Bear officials mentioned that they are looking to get more information regarding the incident.
