Australian rower Sarah Tait dies

  • Winner of the silver medal at the 2012 London Olympics, Sarah Tait, Australian rower, has died aged 33. Along with Kate Hornsey, she had won the medal in the women’s pair. As per media reports, Tait was diagnosed with cervical cancer in 2013. In a tribute, Chris O'Brien, Australian Rowing head coach said that she had been an inspiration for many Australian rowers.
