Andy Murray reaches Australian Open final

  • Andy Murray fought back after losing the first set to defeat Tomas Berdych and enter the final of the Australian Open in Melbourne on Thursday night.

    The Briton won 6-7 (6-8), 6-0, 6-3, 7-5 against the seventh-ranked Czech, who had beaten Rafael Nadal in the quarter-final.

    Murray dominated the second and third sets, but the fourth set was somewhat competitive.

    The Scot has been a finalist here thrice before, but never won the championship.
