Vinyl records show resurgence in UK

  • Over a million vinyl records have been sold in Britain this year, for the first time since 1996, according to media reports.

The figure was reached in November.

The Endless River by Pink Floyd has become the fastest-selling vinyl release in 17 years.

The popularity is surprising considering most music is digital now. However, industry experts say vinyl will continue to remain a niche market.

Vinyl is not just another form of listening to music, but considered as an art form by fans.
