U2 bassist assistant sentenced to seven years in theft case

A former personal assistant to U2 bassist Adam Clayton who embezzled $3.5 million of his money has been sentenced to seven years in jail.
Carol Hawkins, 48, from Dublin, was convicted after an 18-day trial at the Circuit Criminal Court in the Irish capital.
Prosecutors said she stole from two of Clayton's bank accounts between 2004 and 2008.
