'Prisoners' tops box office with $21.4M

  • Hollywood has had a good start to the fall season with "Prisoners" making $21.4M on the box-office this weekend. 

    The adult-oriented drama costed $30M to make and its one of the first movies with Oscar aspirations this fall. "Insidious: Chapter 2", which made $60.9M in two weeks domestically has slid to second place with $14.5M in its second weekend. 

    The Chris Brown film "Battle of the Year" made only $5M.
