Oscar-winning Australian cinematographer Andrew Lesnie dies at 59

Andrew Lesnie, the renowned Australian cinematographer who won an Oscar for his work on the Lord of the Rings trilogy, has died aged 59. He had reportedly suffered a heart attack on Monday.
A resident of Sydney, Lesnie also worked on films like the 'King Kong’ remake, ‘The Lovely Bones’, and the ‘Rise of the Planet of the Apes’.
His most recent work as cinematographer was in the Russell Crowe-directed ‘The Water Diviner’, which released in the US on Friday.
